Explore watercolor and gouache in this friendly and relaxed beginner painting workshop and create a painting inspired by patterns and designs found in American folk art. Class will begin with an introduction to basic techniques such as wet on wet vs. dry on wet, masking, and color mixing. Students will learn how to transfer a design template to watercolor paper as well. All materials provided. Students will have the opportunity to
